CRC2362
Hey everyone I have a '99 Deville and just had the oil changed yesterday at the dealer and they did their normal 33 point inspection.... a few things "need attention". Do I even have a Pollen Filter? and if so does it need to be changed periodically? and a Brake Fluid flush, is that necessary as well? oh there's more... The throttle body needs attention and the brakes need adjustment or something(they were all replaced by them 8000 miles ago front and back) oh and lets not forget the fuel filter. Any comments, the car runs very well and there is 44000 miles on it. Thanks Craig
KHE
I don't believe the Deville had a pollen filter until the 2000 model year. The throttle body may need cleaning but that's about it. Sounds like the dealer is attempting to generate additional revenue... The brake fluid flush is a good idea every 10 years/100000 miles but at this point, it's a little bit early.
