Ed Fenwick
Wo is me, no job yet, (I'm loving it). No new Cadillac in the near future, so does anyone want two key fobs from my '92 Seville? I know that one works, not sure about the other. Just pay postage. Scotty
Ed see the for sale section, 95 Seville SLS for $4,350! The owner might negotiate. What does it cost to send a car to you? Mike
TDK
Ed & Scotty, What do you mean by "what does it cost to send a car to you"? My old boss said he and his wife bought a new Olds Tornado a long time ago and she suggest the they take it on a nice trip. He said sure Honey, where do you have in mind? She was thrilled and chirped that she always wanted to visit Hawaii! Well, my boss was an ex Navy guy and it took all he had - to explain to her where Hawaii was - and all that water with no bridge, etc. Apparently, she thought it was by Maine (wherever that was) and was really disappointed by the revelation. She got a bit angry with him for laughing so hard, while he was rolling on the floor. and stammered "Its not my fault that I went to Catholic School"! And no, she is not a blond. Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning.
Ed Fenwick
Aloha Guys, Interesting isn't it what we retain from GRADE school. I went to catholic school and I find that many people are as bad at geography as I am at spelling. Scotty, I think that it is about $600. shipping from the west coast to Honolulu. I really need to find work first though. When the time comes though, it would be a great vacation to come over, pick up a car and drive it to the west coast. When the Lord finds me worthy.... Thanks Ed
Regis
Scotty, I think that it is about $600. shipping from the west coast to Honolulu. $600 or even $1000 sounds like a pretty good deal for shipping close to 4000 lbs. Many years ago when I was in Germany with my father on a 3 day bar hopping outing, we checked out a few BMW dealerships during the sober times. Long story short my father was humming and hawing over which car he wanted. He pointed out that the price he could get in Germany plus the cost of having it shipped to the US was cheaper than buying one in the US. Sometimes it makes sense to consider shipping and cost when the deal is a worthwhile one. Yeah Kger2, my folks were in the Netherlands and looked into shipping a Mercedes back was between 20-35 K cheaper than here, but I understand the US govt. limits you to one a year now (evidently some were doing it for a living )

Rickster
Speaking of Blonds..... a true story about 2 blone co-workers... I urgently needed a few days off work, but I knew the Boss would not allow me to take a leave. I thought that maybe if I acted "CRAZY" then he would tell me to take a few days off. So I hung upside down on the ceiling and made funny noises. My co-worker (who's blonde) asked me what I was doing? I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb so that the Boss would think I was "CRAZY" and give me a few days off. A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked "What are you doing ?" I told him I was a light bulb. He said "You are clearly stressed out. Go home and recuperate for a couple of days". I jumped down and walked out of the office. When my co-worker (the blonde) followed me, the Boss asked her " ...And where do you think you're going?" She said, "I'm going home too, I can't work in the dark 2001 STS Mettalic Otter Grey, Black Leather, 213,000 kilometers - miles - ? Still running strong!
