Jeff Wilson
Currently I am getting the following code: DTC C1762 LR Position Sensor Input Fault thinking it was ride height sensor I replaced the sensor $285 not including installation. I am still getting the code even after I tried clearing it. That problem is going to be put on the back burner for awhile I have to replace a motor mount at a cost of $850 which only the dealer can do something about special tools. Then I have to replace the drivers side mirror assembly at a cost of $425 dollars not including paint and installation. Then I have to replace the drivers seat cushion or the relay, the cushion is $850 dollars the relay is $136 dollars. I sure could have used the heated seat this morning the temperature was 6 Celsius (39.2 F). After all that I will have to take the car to the dealership to fix the DTC 1762. Last month I spent Almost 3K getting the car repainted two weeks later I accidently scraped a pole in front of our apartment. Sorry to vent but it is little frustrating at times. I love my Caddilac and will probably end up getting everything fixed one repair at a time. After all I drove my car for a whole year with no major issues or repairs which was a first for me. Make sure the sensor you are looking for is the problem. What codes are you getting?
