weephee
Hello from Canada. I have a 2000 STS. The other day I was in a local junk yard and found a wrecked 2000 Seville STS with adaptive seats. How do I know? Well the outer lumbard control has AUTO printed on the top of it. That's the round knob that moves the lumbard support up and down and in and out. Also in the trunk the APO list has AC9 as an option. I looked it up in my service manual and apparently this option uses an air pump and bladder system on the seat and back cushions for both passenger and driver seats. The idea is that the seat pumps up to fit the contours of your body and readjusts itself every 4 minutes. Now to the question. Does anyone out there have this option on their car and if so how do you like it. From what I understand, it was available from 1998 to 2001. I may buy these and put them in my car. I'll have to change the seat covers from beige to black but before I do I wanted to get some input as to whether it's worth the trouble. parrothead
It's excellent ! I drive about 1000 miles a week and never experience any muscle stiffness of fatigue in my legs or back. I highly recommend them. Plus you can give your significant other a cheap thrill.... ~for every vision there is an equal and opposite revision~
