Bruce Nunnally Posted October 17, 2005 Report Share Posted October 17, 2005 different years the overrides may have diff meanings; the ones I posted here are from the 96 shop manual. I never saw an advantage from choosing a diff country. As I recall, in Saudi Arabia the max speed the speedo will show is 75 mph then it flashes after that; that sort of thing. Not sure why that would be a good choice. Maybe default for new pcm's ? Interior air purge I think is the same as HVAC Purge Mode, which is used when the ac system is first turned on but if certain conditions exists and is intended to improve comfort and reduce the chance of fogging the windshield. Basically, the blower speed is reduced until a higher speed will help, or from blowing cold air before the heater is ready.
