Tjp
Hi, got some transmission problems with my 94 Seville STS. After a recent service, I had lots of tranny fluid on the garage floor. It looked like it had been over-filled as it was just about bubbling out of the filer neck when the dipstick was removed. I siphoned some fluid out and got the level down to roughly where it should be. However, there's still some coming out - I can't get under the car to see where exactly from but the puddle appears to be below the area of the filler tube - could this be excess coming out of a drain? I've also got an intermittent PO76 code and associated Service Engine Soon. Before I find a transmision specialist, which isn't easy here in the UK, any advice or tips? Or as the car has done 170000 miles is this the start of something terminal? Your help is very much appreciated, Thanks, Tony
KHE
Maybe the filler tube got pulled out of the trans. housing or the o-rings were damaged? Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71
rllovett
I just replaced the lines that run the trans fluid through the radiator cuz they were leaking slightly--take a look under the rad on the driver's side for weepage...
