My '00 STS

Recommended Posts

:D Just a quick picture of my 2000 STS. She's running nice at 45k miles. Several things replaced/repaired under warranty. Mostly done before I bought it preowned from a dealer over two years ago. Out of pocket probably cost me about $500 for some cosmetic things not covered under warranty. Still covered under extended warranty though (knock on wood). I added chrome exhaust tips from Midas and a spoiler from Sportwing. Everything else is stock...precisely the way it was meant to be.

Looks good!!

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

Eye candy.

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

Thanks for the compliments everyone....I do love that look. The inside is in excellent condition. It is the slate color, slightly lighter than the black leather, but a nice contrast to the wood trim. Too hot for for the black leather here in San Diego. I think the spoiler adds a nice look too...a low profile idea from Mark and his 99STS. The exhaust tips are aftermarket. Got 'em at Midas and they charged less than 100 bucks to weld them on for me.

dang, those wheels are little! of course you should wait for several yrs before you do any mods. my son bought a nice grand prix GT and spent about 2k on mods and than sold it. than he bought a GTP and put 2k into that. where did he get the bug to mod his car from? his dad never spent money on mods but he wished he would have. seriously though, if you want to tweak your car a little, do it now before you come to your senses. ;)
