etcxtc Posted September 14, 2005 Report Share Posted September 14, 2005 Kevin, I have a 1997 ETC and I don't have overhead map lights in the overhead console. Just the remote garage door opener and the sunglass holder. To the best of my knowlege, overhead maplights (in the console) were not offered. The only map lights I have in my ETC are the ones that are in the headliner above each door. They have a focused beam that serves a map/reading light. Hope this helps. Check with the parts department at your dealership, they may have an accessory rear-view mirror that auto-dims with compass and map lights $$$.
