Oldgamer
Every time I need set the time after resseting battery or winter/summer shift I have a big fight with my standart Delco AM/FM radio/tape/clock. I turn the ignition key on, hold the button "Set" and try to manipulate button "Seek" and nothing happened. Buttons works fine, because when radio/tape is on they work. I remember sometime I set time some how. DId I forgot something? I just hate to see my clock showing wrong time.

Oldgamer
What I was doing I hold set and press seek simultaneously. Tonight I'll try again. Thanks. P.S. Yes, stereo was off.
KHE
What I was doing I hold set and press seek simultaneously. Tonight I'll try again. Thanks. P.S. Yes, stereo was off. I don't think it matters if the radio is off or on - I can adjust the time in the Fleetwood Brougham with the radio on or off. Oldgamer
I remember it matters at least in my car. Otherwise, these buttons function as set hold in memory and seek signal buttons.
poopdeville
Do you have a young child or grandchild?... lol, give them the keys and the request and sit back... results always come for me with that tact. Mike P
WarrenJ
I don't think it matters if the radio is off or on - I can adjust the time in the Fleetwood Brougham with the radio on or off. Not on mine. When my radio is "ON," the SET button assigns the currently tuned station to the currently selected PRESET button. My radio must by "OFF" to set the time. Drove me crazier 'till I RTFM. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
jfreezn
Key on, radio off. Tap the set button only. Do not hold it. Use the seek button first, up or down to set one parameter. Use the scan button next, up or down to set the other parameter Jim in Phoenix Jim in Phoenix
