mademan
I just riecently purchased a 92 seville sts, I brought it home in SHOWROOM condition, dead mint. the second night I had it parked in my driveway some young guys on bikes (8 of them in the police report -called in by a neighbour) smashed the window out of my buddys civic whom lives across the street from me. then proceeded to dance on the hood of my caddy, leaving large noticable dents, break my passengers side bumper mounts, crack the side panneling on the passengers front door, jump on my custom exhaust breaking off the hangers, then tried to break of my power gas door, then finnaly hitting all 4 side windows with a blunt object (pansies couldnt break the 5 mil glass causing huge noticable scratches in the centres of all the windows but not breaking them)- just deep enough that it cant be buffed out. however the police caught the kids for breaking my buddys window and let them go, but could not prove they did anything to my car - even though its on the report. so im left with well over 1500.00 worth of damages, and a 700.00 deductable - which I cant nessesarily afford. then a few nights later my gold grille emblem was stollen which to replace is around 250.00(cdn). ... Then just a week ago, someone tried to pry the drivers door open .. failing to get in , leaving scratches on the side of the door, then kicking a 15 inch long crack in my front bumper. I realize these are mainly young guys just having some "fun" at other peoples expence, but I myself am only 19, and I never did such stupid things, the odd water balloon (at people we know well, friends etc.) but nuthing to cause damage, the problem here is that we have the "young offenders act" which covers anyone under 19, you get a slap on the wrist and your name is not allowd to be released or published, which is a load of bull!! the cops wont go after kids about stuff like this , yet they will pull me over, cuff me place me under arrest and search my car for drugs and charge me for front tinted windows and make me peel off the tint for no reason (conscidering ive never done any drugs before. you tell me whos fault it is! its the law system- people will test it to see how far they can go. sorry for the long read, kinda needed to vent a bit. thx, Mike - mademan
bigjayzway
Hey venting is good! I definately think revenge is a sweet thing! I simply won't even bother calling the pigs anymore, cause they are so useless! Myself, I would look for them, and do the same to their parents cars!....(have done it, and loved every minute of it) Big Jay Life is too short to grow up! You won't find the S.O.B.s, but the next best thing you can do is report it. If the local cops are on top of things, you'll point them in the right direction. Maybe they'll be on the lookout for the next one. Maybe. Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. Oldgamer
I hate this stuff so much... You guys can call me anything, but I think if in cases like this we cut off the hand, problem can be solved on a next day. We got some more disabled people, this is it. People like this not gonna have job and work like other people anyway. They became a gangsters. So, just better to make them one handed. Sorry, may be this is sounds cruel. I'm not like some people who saying "Oh, they are just kids".

yenko
A few months ago some Girl threw a snowball (iceball) at my car and busted out my left headlight assembly. The whole thing was shattered and the bracket was cracked. The replacement cost at the dealer was like $500+ (I got one used for around $120) I went to the police station immidiatly and the cop took pictures of the headlight then took some notes. I knew who the girl was and the cop persued her parents to pay up but they refused to, saying that it was my fault for driving to fast. There were several witnesses who the cop talked to because this all happened at a bus stop. Anyway this went on for about a month until finally the cop threatened to press charges witch would give her a criminal record, so her parents finally gave in and after another week, left a check with the police. But it wasnt over yet. A week or so later we get a bank statment showing that the check bounced, so we phone up the police officer, luckily he was in that day and a few hours later there is $135 cash sittin on my doorstep. I gotta say I was fairly pleased with how the cop handled the situation. It took about two months but I got all my money back in the end. It really wasn't in our intentions to press charges but im 16, I dont have a job, so its hard enough keeping my car on the road, what ever workes to scare them into payin up is fine with me. I cant stand those little rats who do damage to other peoples proberty, the have no respect. IMPORT CRUSHER
Petroleum
wow, that is heart wrenching. really? that same night. I would be furious. Especially, since I'm 21 one of you is 19 and another 16; it feels awesome owning such a GORGEOUS car only to have someone damage it on purpose. I hope in some way they get their come upons. I keep a loaded 45 in my caddy and it is only for protection, but in situations like this you never know how enraged you can become... I might take it out. canadian95sts
I keep a loaded 45 in my caddy and it is only for protection GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! You know, when i was growing up, it was kidna an unwritten law, that you never do anything to a Cadillac, they had such a reputation for being owned by "Legitimate Businessmen", or lawyers or docotrs you know, people with the means to hurt you if you even looked at their car wrong. I've had enough, I am calling for a unified front, next time someone even looks at your caddy wrong, go to the trunk, take out a bat, and crack em one right in the skull. Once the word spreads that you never mess with a caddy, again, we will be able to back off and once again become a peaaceful people. (we have to use bats in Canada, cause the Queen wont let us have guns, stupid queen) LOL Matt A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...BUT, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "darn...that was fun!" www.madd.ca

I golf once a year- anyone touches the car when im near it - there is hell to pay!! I may only by 19 but im 6`2 , 230 lb and have a bad temper, lol, for a while I carried an unloaded 9mm replica pellet gun just to scare anyone who tried anything- btu after I got pulled over and cuffed for "having drugs" which the funny thing is they never found anything in the car or on me, I decided it wasnt such a good Idea to carry it in the glove box anymore. and during the winter I will be carrying a ball bat in my trunk- with a tennis ball (so there is no proof I have it for defence) for my dog....... which happens to be a mini poodle, lol

caddypete
Get a rottwieller, they have a strange way of sneaking up on people and then barking or growling when they are very close and usually behind you, and if you show fear it usually triggers an attack
yenko
I think the worst vandilism is when people do some thing to your car and don't even realize it. Like when some one puts an object on the surface of the car that can potentially scuff or scratch the paint. Or when they lean against it with ruff clothing. It hardly ever happens because my car is so clean most people are afraid to touch it, but when it does I make sure it doesn't happen again. One other thing I hate is after I detail the interior/exterior people will make comments about how clean it is and then go ahead and swipe their fingers across the wood grain prooving how clean it is, while leaving their greasy finger prints behind. In my car everything has to be a certain way like the floor mats should never be crooked, the ash tray should never be opened, seats should not be adjusted, if windows are going down then they will all go down at the same length, and no one uses the cd player remote except me. Most of those rules are just to hard to keep but every once and a while I get real picky. I also keep a wooden bat in my trunk just incase something were to happen (self-protection), but if you take a bat to some ones face in this town everybody's gonna know, so it won't take long before a cop is at your step. In a city of 50,000 with an extremly low crime rate it is better to use your fists rather than a bat becuase cops will usually let that slide. "A bat beating" that would be like frontpage news here for months. Several months ago I was carrying a hand pelet gun in my glove box. I got pulled over and when I went into the golve box to reach for my wallet the gun was sittin right there in the light but luckily the officer didn't see it and sent me packin with a warning to get my headlight fixed. That was the first time I got pulled over, I didn't have a clue what to do or say. IMPORT CRUSHER

Best regards, Petrol LOL I can match the gorgeous car part, but not the .45! I love it! I am very leary of the kids in my neighbourhood. The generation after us went to sh*t. I'm an only child, but alot of the kids I am taking about are the little brothers of my buddies. I can't believe the vandalizing stunts they pull off...and this is a respectable neighbourhood, no ghetto. I trust they know not to mess with me or my car, but I wouldn't put it past them. I'm 19 as well, but can't figure out what the 'younger generation' get out of their stunts. One thing is for sure, they have to learn that you just don't touch a mans car for sh#ts and giggles!
