jh50
There is a picture on the second page of the attached thread that shows a CTS which very much resembles the Sixteen. All I can say is WOW Not too sure about the grille, but if this is what it looks like I'm in! jh50
I really like the current CTS and when I read that it was being redesigned I was very skeptical as I read that Bob Lutz wanted to round the edges a bit. While the edges look more rounded, the redesign still maintains that bold "in your face" look. I really like the headlights. I think with the new Caddy's you're either going to love them or hate them. One thing is for certain, however, you can spot one from a mile away! I'm going to have to start saving my pennies. For now, I remain a Caddy owner wanna be
Bruce Nunnally
The real question is, what is the plan for the powertrain? Do we get a CTS-S model with a twin turbo 3.6L for 400+ hp, and the CTS-V goes to the 505 hp LS7? Or take the cylinder sleeves out of the 3.6L and make the 3.8L version with a target of 300 hp? I think my favorite would be a 3.6L CTS w/sport package, 300+ hp if they can find those extra horses, and driver select six-speed automatic and a target 0-60 time under 6 seconds. Scotty
Sorry about that last post, I'm not having a good day... Filled up the 'ol STS this morning... 70 BUCKS!, The market's down, oil is up... I'm bumbed... I feel that also. The gas is getting out of hand, I am not surprised that the publics sentiment has changed on Iraq its hitting us in the wallet now, and its getting worse and worse. Unfortunately I don't think Iraq is the only reason, there are multiple reasons for the gas increase, China, Hurricanes, Lack of Refinerys, Chavez/Venezuela, Iraq, and I am sure the Middle East enjoys having our neck in a vice. I mentioned in another thread that I have been stopping at $30 at the gas station, that is not much gas. When I first started driving in 72.... Gas at Hess was $0.33 a gallon, two dollars worth was plenty in my 64 Grand Prix
etcxtc
Wasn't Lutz the bone head at Chrysler that conceived those bulbous (sp) cars like the Concorde and the LHS??? Then GM hires him to redesign Buick with the rounded LeSabre and Park Avenue??? An insurance company gave me a LeSabre while my wife's 98' Deville was in the shop. I HATED THAT CAR!!! Looked lilke Fred Flintstone designed the instrument cluster. Michael
