While everything is appart!

I can't wait to try out my STS with the new Struts, shock and springs. I have gotten the old parts off and no bolts broke. Unlike when I work on my Honda. I break a bolt every time.

Anyway, while the car is sitting naked with no suspension in my drive way, is there any bushings etc... that I should change at the same time? ;)

The front strut mounts (#4) and stabilizer bar bushings. If you feel energetic, you could do the strut rod bushings. What struts did you go with? Don't forget to get an alignment.

Ignore #11 in this picture, its the lower control arm bushing and the picture was for something else.

I would also smear a generous amout of grease on the inside of the stabilizer bar bushings... Mine used to squeak something nasty...

use silicone grease, petroleum based grease tends to swell rubber

Thanks. Great advice. I went with Strut Masters for $375.00 for all four. 4 Days to Ottawa, Canada. I was supprised the rears were coil overs, but I guess I won't have any issue with the Eibach lowering springs. The strut mounts look a little rusty with salt residue on the top so it definately makes sense to change them.

Does anyone have torque specs for installing struts and shocks? The instructions did not include these.
