Service Ride System?!!

Got my car back from being serviced... The Service Ride System light goes on when I start it now. The manual says to take it to the dealer... hoping that won't be the case! I am going to look at fuses and such... could it be from when the alternator was bad and the car sat for a week and 1/2 with a dead battery? Should I try unplugging the computer for a few minutes? Any help would be much appreciated!

Lots of posts on this in this forum... Try a search...

First pull your codes and look them up...

If your car is fresh from a tire rotation, brake job or similar... Pull your front wheels and check if the link between your lower control arm is connected to your suspension sensor...

Bet ya its only connected at one end....

Someone has unplugged something. It is a given.

It is possible that they went through the wheel well to get to your alternator by removing the inspection covers on the RF (passenger side of your car). Undoubtedly they jarred one of the connections. Safely jack the car up pull the tire and look for a loose or broken electrical connection at the strut, level control or speed sensor. Also check that there is a link attaching the level control (#12) to the lower control arm #10 below. Report back what you find, I think you will find your problem, Mike

This happens often, funny however it NEVER happens when I work on my car...

PS, this photo is NOT exact its only for illustration purposes

oynxSTS... you are the winner (and my hero)!!!!!!!!!!

Both of the sensor links were undone! My guess is the shop dropped the cradle to do the alternator, anyway, I pulled of the wheels and found both unhooked. I took the time to wash the inside and out of the wheels and reattached the links (I even took off the rears and cleaned them too). Washed out the wheel-wells and scrubbed 'em up pretty. So after all of this worked I washed it and took some photo's while it was really clean!

Thanks everyone for your advice! :D
