davedog
bought my first cadillac when I was 17, a 1987 Deville with 180k on it for $400. Drove it until she had 208k (still running great) and sold it for $800. (see below) In it's place I bought my current car a couple of years ago, a 1992 ETC with 48k. It now has 78k, I drive it everyday. (see below) For my next car I would like either a 99-02 eldorado or a CTS. Marika
45. This is my first caddy. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

graphite-sts
I bought my first Caddy, a '69 two door Calis in 1982 when I was 18. it was supposed be just a winter beater, to keep my Buick GS from getting rusty. But it ended up being a great car which I unfortunatly sold to my father, a few years later, who let my younger brother beat it into the ground with most of the football team along for the ride. Then I thought it was saved when my dad sold it, until I found out the guy he sold it to had a couple accidents with it, and finally ran it into a phone poll. At least in one of the accidents, a Honda that ran a stop sign totaled itself , and only dented the driver front fender. Anyway, I now own my second Caddy, that I bought this year. A completely different animal('01 STS), but still giving you that same feeling when going down the road. Jim

ktowncat
22. Bought it a week ago. 97 Catera with 120k for $3k. Rode a bus 26 hours from the Milwaukee area to the campus of Penn State, no sleep, picked up the car and drove straight back 10 hours. Got back at 10pm on Saturday night and proceeded to the bar for a few drinks to cap off one hell of a weekend.

ero1220
When I was 17 my father purchased a 2000 STS, he gave me his 93 STS with 71k miles, and sold his favorite toy so I could have space in the garage (it was a 1960 MGA 1500 mkII) Just about a year ago I sold the 93 and started looking for another car. I too checked out the 00-02 Lincoln LS... which I thought was a great car until I drove it. The quality just doesn't match the price tag. If I wanted a Taurus I wouldn't pay for it twice! Anyway, as things went I inherited my father's White Diamond 2000 STS with 60k miles when he purchased a 2003 STS. These are both our current vehicles. I am 20. I know that I am completely spoiled and extremely fortunate. There is nothing like a Cadillac. I hope to always be a Caddy driver. But, I also have to keep things in perspective. I know most people my age don't get the opportunity to even have a vehicle, let alone a Cadillac... I need to get through school and land "the job" so I can fund my own "always drive Cadillac" program!

JIMDTS
I was 15 & My dad gave me a 1967 conv. that was new and was his car. It gave him an excuse to buy a new one.I worked for him after school and needed a car to get back and forth to work. Actually he just got tired of picking me up after school.I had a learners permit but no actual lic. It worked out fine but I traded that car in on a 1969 Z28 I wasn't into big rides back then but it sure was a fun car to drive It was great having that car in High School..and some cash from working after school I was instantly dating all the senoir chicks..A big step up from a little freshman..
