stokes
The other night I was sitting outside and noticed the interior lights on my 92 Seville went on for no apparent reason.By the time I got to open the door the lights went out. This happened 4 times over the next hour or so,then didn't happen again for the rest of the time I was out there ( about 3 hrs or so).I have no codes and the car runs fine.Anybody got an idea as to what might cause this? TDK
Stokes, Maybe something as simple as a loose door switch? Good luck Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning.
WarrenJ
Stokes, Maybe something as simple as a loose door switch? Good luck Yep. You don't get codes for that! About twenty years ago, my Caprice suffered a dead battery every 4 months or so for unknown reasons. Drove me crazi(er). On one snowy day I left work and from 100 feet away I looked at my car in the parking lot and I immediately knew my problem. There was a 12" circle on the roof of my car that was bare of snow. A loose switch in the door jamb was turnng on the interior light while I was away from the darn car. D'oh: battery dead! I tightened the nut on the door jamb switch and never again had a problem. One friend of mine reported the same problem in his Mark VII regarding the trunk light. Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
