joeb Posted July 29, 2005 Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 when you drop the trans pan, where exactly are the "side" drain plugs/bolts? does removing them get more fluid to drain from the trans? I don't want to just start taking out bolts from the valve body. how large are they? 10-12mm hex head or? are they somewhat obvious as far as size compared to other bolts in the area? CaddyChris Posted July 29, 2005 Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 there is only 1 bolt. It is on the driver side toward the front. You can tell its the one because it is not going into anything. It appears to be just there...not doing anything if you know what i mean. It is a smaller size than the bolts holding up the pan. I found it the first time and I never had the pan dropped before.
