GR8NSTAR
Hello Caddy lovers, Well it's time to stretch the legs on my 98 Deville. We're set to leave Friday evening to LA. I'm taking the kids to Disneyland on Monday which will also serve as my daughter's birthday present. This will be a good road trip for the caddy as it's about 1032 miles from Colorado Springs to L A. She has bout 108,000 miles on her and can use a lil work out. Just put new OEM plugs and wires in her, fresh oil, and tire rotation/alignment so we should be smooth sailing or floating (to use a better term). I can't wait. I'm too excitied as there will be plenty of opportunity for WOT's as needed. I love driving this car long distances. It's very theraputic. Well to the believers on this site pray for me and my family on this trip. It's triple digit temps in the desert, but she's made this trip before with no issues so I'm anticipating the same results. Happy driving to all.

WarrenJ
. . . . so we should be smooth sailing or floating (to use a better term). I can't wait. Give that Land Yacht WOTs she needs . . . . And a happy B'day to the young one. Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

GR8NSTAR
Hello all. We made it back from L.A. and the caddy ran great. Not counting the fill up at home (Colo. Spgs., CO) it took me 2 tanks of gas to go roughly a lil over 1k miles. The kids really enjoyed six flags and disneyland. We did however have a lil fender bender the night we arrived. We checked into the hotel last Saturday and while we were asleep someone hit my trunk and dented it in pretty good. They left no info or anything. We noticed it as we were leaving to go grab some breakfast. Now that I'm home I just had my insurance adjuster quote about $1500 in damages. They'll probably just put a whole new trunk lid on. At least that's what I'm hoping for. Anyway's I'm glad to be back board members.
davedog
Glad to hear you made it back OK. Long trips in a cadillac ROCKS!!! Yeah, puch for them to just replace it, because they won't have to keep it as long.
