jcp0003
A friend of mine has a '95 Deville. The owner is not present but I feel the car has over 100K miles. Two issues: 1) When the lights are turned on - even when the car is running - the "ding ding ding" you've-left-your-lights-on chime never goes off. It is maddening driving the car in the dark or in the rain. and 2) The fuel gauge and trip meter (mpg etc) do not work at all. Anyone else had issues Like this? What could it be? Thoughts? jhall
Jayson, There are a number of possible problems from the radio (believe it or not) to the body control computer module. Check the fault codes on the car by setting the ignition to the "run" position. Then press and hold the AC "off" and "warmer" buttons. Watch the display and write down any codes. The ones that say "current" are the present faults. Let us know what you find.
