JasonA
http://members.tripod.com/~grannys/enginescadillac.html - The Northstar is not a 60-degree engine. - It does not have a right-side oil filter. - It does not generate 400 lb*ft like the site (and brochure) suggests. 0-60 in 8 seconds? (see brochure) Maybe if you installed it in a school bus. Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?" WarrenJ
. "Brand new factory Northstar for $2500.00" darn!?!?!?!??!?!!?!??! From that site: " '93-up Cadillac FWD models." Well, we all know these engines differ significantly over the years. Sounds kinda like "pot luck" to me. Fine for a hot rodder, but maybe not so good for an OEM replacement. Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
