Now that old boy understands aerodynamics!

Wonder how many hours he has on the remote controller switches?

Two things:

Speed conquers all.

And, It gives a whole new meaning to "front wheel drive". I'd say the prop is creating most of the lift.....incredible! GM, hire this guy, the basis of the design is very similar to the SR-71, very little energy wasted. I'm with you JimD!

Never underestimate the amount of a persons greed.

These babys are about 15k...the real jet engines are about 6k...radio controlled...

They also sound like the real thing....diesel fumes etc....use A1 air fuel..

Can these be purchased?

From what little research I've done so far, no they're not in production yet. When they do (soon?) somebody's going to make some serious profit. Those things are very interesting.. ;)

These units can do 200 mph.....

8-9 minutes is the fly time.

Sound, smell, is the same as seeing the Blue Angels....

Men and boys is the only thing I can come up with.....

I wonder...

About the power to weight ratio.

About the stability and control surfaces.

How to get on-board video (talk about motion sickness)!

In any case, a pro at the controls and good editing for a home video.

fun stuff fer sure.

Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning.

I'll take either to "buzz" the geese up at my folk's place on the water. On second thought the foam boat would probably be a better idea. Unless that lawn mower can land on water. ;)

Logan,

did you see the vidoe with one of these jets flying?

They claim it will go 270mph(?)

If not, I'll look for it..

Those are small Hyrdoplane bots that have been modified with two mini aircraft servos, and the motor/prop assembly out of a model plane. I think these guys made these theselves. As far as I know, no one makes a flying boat like this. I've been in the R/C hobby for years, and haven't seen one. It's actually pretty easy to do, and the design of the boat makes it quite easy to adapt to fly. I mean, even the full scale ones do it sometimes...hehe. All you need is at least a 4 channel remote, and the motor/prop assembly from a plane. The rest is just modifying the rear wing to act like two ailerons, that canbe controlled by the two servos.

The guy who designed the Hydro-Foam plane has a website:

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

Those are toys...

Want the real thing?....

Real jet power....

Are there any videos on the net showing these jets in action?

The B-52 model showed the great jet engine sound you can get with the jet units.

The fighter planes are much faster....up to a 200 mph FAA limit.

Try this link...you have to see these to believe it....
