terrylange
I need some assistance with history codes I am getting on my '97 DeVille with 169K on it. I purchased a 1997 Tech 2 Reference Guide off E-bay last year, and none of the categories let alone specific codes are even listed in the book. Anyway, the history codes I am finding on a recurring basis are: PCM P0603 and P1810, TCS 1255, and PZM B0533, B1552 and B1558. I know one of them is tied into a short I have in my fuel tank sending unit, cause it only appears when I have less than 5 gallons in the tank and the fuel guage starts jumping around. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

terrylange
Thanks for the help, Big Jay, and for the referral to the web site. Just have to figure out what some of these things mean! Terry
bigjayzway
Well I know I just went through the B0533 in my wifes car. It was the fuel sending unit. It is the part in the tank that has the plunger on it. I replaced that, and that code was gone! Now, if yours is a history code, maybe it was replaced already? Either way, good luck, and keep smiling...... Big Jay!! Life is too short to grow up!
bigjayzway
I almost forgot.... You can look in the archives for these codes. That is where I go, and you will see the answers you are looking for. Just make sure you request more than 30 days worth!! Big Jay! Life is too short to grow up!
