93STSpieceofcrapmoneypit
These were sitting in my garage forever!! I got them on eBay for a song! My '93 is turning out to be NOT such a "pieceofcrapmoneypit" after all! I took a pic today at the grocery store. Parked nose to nose with a new Cad. I think my STS looks newer and more "muscular" now. What do you guys think? With your user name being what it is I'd have to be hard pressed. I, however, do find it entertaining. The definition of an enthusiast is "a person filled with enthusiasm" or " one who is ardently attached to a cause, object, or pursuit." Then there is my personal favorite "one who tends to become ardently absorbed in an interest." I would call the last one fanatic, bordering on unhealthy. I think I'd rather be an enthusiast as opposed to a fanatic. CADS RULE DUDES! Alright Alright Alright...

93STSpieceofcrapmoneypit
Yeah, I thought so. Kinda freshened her up. She rides nice, and has a little "oomph" in her again. Funny how new shoes can do that. With your user name being what it is I'd have to be hard pressed. I, however, do find it entertaining. cardio-doc
Really looks great - congratulations. Funny thing about those 2002 through 2004 CTS rims. When they came out nobody liked them. And I mean nobody - all my dealers wanted to get rid of them. I even avoided them but eventually started selling them. Style took on. It just took awhile for people to adjust. BUT.....THOSE ARE THE LIGHTEST 16" WHEELS CADILLAC EVER MADE. By far. I handle all the wheels so I know. Everytime I grab one of them I'm amazed how much lighter they are than other late-model wheels. And they are MUCH MUCH lighter than the original wheels your car came with if you'd just replaced them. Bruce - feel free to chime in here: Decreasing unsprung weight is a big performance plus. Acceleration, braking, handling - even fuel economy. And you just decreased unsprung weight alot. Especially if you went straight from the original wheels to those. Enjoy the looks but more than that - enjoy the (better) performance. congratulations, ~Doc P.S. The style changed for 2005 and they became very heavy compared to what they were. Also, they are the heaviest 16" wheels in recent history (compared with Deville, SLS, etc.) --- Direct Performance on Ebay CaddyInfo.com Cadillac Conversations Blog
ted tcb
Those rims make your car look about 5 years newer ... very nice, gives the Seville a sportier, lighter look. The OEM rims date the car, as the big pie plates looked old even in the late eighties. I've seen your car with the chrome center caps against the aluminum rim, and it really gives the car even more pizzaz ... something cheap yet possibly well worth it. Doc sells them pretty cheap. Can you give us any performance feed back ... does the car feel more lively, better balanced handling less wheel weight? 1989 FWD Fleetwood, Silver 1995 STS Crimson Pearl on Black leather 1997 STS Diamond White 1999 STS Crimson Pearl 2001 STS Silver 2003 STS, Crimson Pearl
vantasticdude
ANYTHING is an improvement over what these 92-94 cars had originally in my opinion . But I think they look great on that color especially .

I've been moving them around in the garage since 2002 when I got 'em off eBay, and they DID feel light! My cad, which just blew her radiator btw, (nothing unusual - she does some sort of catastrophe every year!) DOES FEEL quicker off the line. Thought maybe my "butt dyno" was full of malarchy, but I guess not. Thanks for the cool info Doc! With your user name being what it is I'd have to be hard pressed.
