coolnesss Posted June 17, 2005 Report Share Posted June 17, 2005 I had the coolant changed in my 98 ETC and the mechanic got the pellets from GM, and on the blister pack, it says: put them in the reservoir. Ranger Posted June 17, 2005 Report Share Posted June 17, 2005 Chances are they'll just sit in the bottom of the surge tank. You could pull the return hose off and drain the tank or use a turkey baster with a vauum hose on the end and suck it out. That said. I don't understand why they wouldn't flow through the system unless the return line is not at the very bottom of the tank. If that is the case (I have never looked) then they'll just sit there.
