scottfc
I just took the Eldo to the dealer for fuel rail, looks great, but now it has a missfire on # 2. No spark at the coil..or at the plug. Any ideas?
jhall
If the problem was not present BEFORE you took it to the dealer, I'd be on their case right away for a fix. If you want to dig, check the pack connector and make sure it's clean and tight.
scottfc
Thanks, after a little archive search I went and got a new coil pack from auto zone for $30.00, put it in ,about 10 minutes, and took off like a bat outta hell! Laid a six foot strip taking off... had lay off the throttle didn't want to waste too much rubber.

Any ideas? Several people reported roblems with plug wires right after fuel rail was replaaced by a dealer. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent
jhall
Yeah, My '97 Deville is on the recall. I dread taking it to the dealer because of the little "extras" like this. I plan on doing a test ride with the dealer service rep and showing a display of the code history before they touch it.
