Cupillac
Hopefully, Hopefully I will get my car out today, its currently being painted. (will post some pics of I do) Last year before I put it away I changed the oil with Quaker State Full Synthetic. A few days later I believe someone said this was not needed in the Northstars and was basically a waste of money. With that being said, should I just switch back to a regular 10W30 performance oil? Is the High Mileage a good oil? Any input would be great! Boy I hope shes ready today!! GR8NSTAR
Cupillac, If I'm not mistaken I believe i've read discussion on this from past posts. Bbobynski has weighed in on this before. You should be fine using the regular motor oil with recommended weight from your owners manual which is 10W30 I think. The N* system doesn't require full synthetic or "high mileage" oils. It's just a waste of money. Also use your OLM and you'll be just fine. Bbobynski any additional .02 worth?
