adallak
I bought a set of ACDelco wires on ebay ($28.00 incuding shiping) and decided to replace the original ones. The resistance of new wires 4-8 kOhm , old ones 5 -11.3 kOhm. As you see not too much od fegradation. The insulation was fine as well. The FSM recommends to change the wires when the resistance is higher than 15 kOhm. Honestly, I had better to leave them alone... whatever you touch brakes (plastic retainers, looms etc.) I replaced the original regular plugs just recently. Despite the gap was 0.75 instead of 0.60 the car ran just perfectly. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent
