Logan Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 I think the bulletin has been discontinued. That bulletin had you use a stickier grease on the shaft. The clunk will come back. I think there has been a new shaft design. A new shaft is only $400. Hmmmm. I think the root cause is the U joints are in the same plane. On most shafts the U joints are offset 30 degress or so to avoid this issue.
