IaBoy Posted May 1, 2005 Report Share Posted May 1, 2005 I have a 6 CD changer that was in the center console of my 1998 SLS that was totaled. My 02 SLS that I just got does not have the CD changer in it. My question is will this CD Changer just plug in and work in my 02. It has the in dash CD now. Starting in '02 GM changed how the radio and the CD Changer "communicated" before '02 it was directly, 02 and later it was over the car's communication bus. Sorry you are SOL.
