Dean.Babbitt
Hi folks, Is there any procedure other than disconnecting the motor mount just to remove the passenger side block drain plug on a 307Y engine. The motor mount on mine is clearly in the way. Driver's side is no problem. When changing coolant, I'd like to be able to drain the entire system. sonjaab
Why? Is the existing coolant rusty/brown etc.? Taking out the freeze plugs for coolant change/drain is a bit extreme. Maybe using some compressed air thru the block and removing all of the old coolant might be a bit easier and save possible freeze plug leak/issues down the road.
