99 STS MAN
Hi, I have a 99 sts with 125,123 miles, well sometimes it fine but sometimes it overheats before it gets too hot I"ll turn it off.Today it overheated a little I popped the hood to take a look at the coolant res .I reved it a few times and I noticed a small mist spray out of the pump pully where the o ring is.Also sometimes it can be at idle and it starts to get a little hot and if I rev it a few times it will go back to normal temp. The radiator is flushed about a mounth ago.And new dex cool and bars sealant Do I need to replace the pump. Can a pump go bad ? any advise? Thank you Sir!!!!
Ranger
Check the belt tensioner to be sure it is not rusted at the pivot and therefore not applying enough tension causing the belt to slip.
