QbanCgar
hello i have a '93 STS N*, & i am n the process of cosmetically changing the appearance of my caddy. i'm going 2 1st start of by changing the color of plain black 2 a possible color scheme of rust & black, haven't really decided. but my main cosmetic change upgrade the '03 chrome STS rims 2 either 18s or 20s. if i go w/ the 20s will that compromise my ride or should i go w/ the 18s? QbanCgar
never really thought it that, but i've only seen 20s on an STS, but when i've gone 2 certain site ie victoriatire.com or tireck.com they only offer 18s. yenko
If it were me I would go with the 18's! Just my overall opinion! IMPORT CRUSHER
Scotty
Before you consider this you need to consider that if your ride is rough now what it will be with the size tires you are considering. You may need to figure out what is wrong with your suspension. But be advise that even with your suspension at 100% your ride will be harsh. Are you getting any codes? Ed Hall
18's and especially 20's will be much rougher than it is now. Going to larger wheels/lower profile is definitely the wrong direction for a smooth ride.
addison_ii
IMO,I would go with 18s, I have a friend with a 1994 STS with 20 inch spinners on and when I drove his car it rode like an old farm truck. But maybe that's because his suspension wasn't up to par.
