SteveW
This is a strange one. I just changed the PCV pipe from the intake to the PCV valve. Put everything back together and when I start it, the engine idles fine for about 10 seconds, then stalls with a P0101. Everything is hooked up correctly. If the MAF was bad, I wouldn't think it would idle normally.

Did this happen before you replaced the PVC pipe? What year/model vehicle is this? Try disconnecting and reconnecting the negative battery connection to reboot the PCM. Then see this thread Figured it out. It was actually due to a bad MAP sensor. The MAP had snapped in half where it attaches to the throttle body. The MAP basically verifies the operation of the MAF on engines with both sensors. Since the MAP was misreporting throttle vacuum, it stalled at idle. Since the ECM doesn't have a specific DTC to report this condition, it defaulted to reporting a P0101. Told you it was strange.
