Bill Spangler
1985 Seville with HT4100. I'm working on tuning up my Caddy, and would like to check the timing. The emissions sticker under the hood says to disconnect a green reference wire 'behind the distributor'. I've spent a lot of time searching but still can't locate that wire. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Bill Spangler
BodybyFisher - Thanks for your suggestion. I finally found it (one single green wire and connector) close to the firewall right under the big round cruise control module..Can't find the distributor bolt, but that's another story. Thanks again.

rockfangd
Possibly saves some foul language. Hate that bolt. Especially when tightening it, and breaking it loose after a long time Quote GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
