Best way to determine Price?

Hi again everyone. As some of you may have read in my earlier posts. I am parting out my Pearl White 1998 SLS that I hit a deer with, and my White 1995 SLS that developed a transmission crack. Here is my problem. I am by no means going to be confused for a mechanic. I want to help out people on this board, because it has helped me so much, but how is the best way to try and figure a fair price for a part that someone wants? I don't know where to find the PCM let alone how much to charge for it. I want to be fair to the buyers here, but want to get a fair price myself too. Hey, I need an ARBITRATOR!! any volunteers? Suggestions are welcome.

PCM should be under the air intake box (for cooling). As far as price, I guess you could go to gmpartsdirect or rockauto and get a price and go from there. 40 or 50% maybe.

Rockauto is a good source for prices for low cost new parts. You can also search ebay motors completed items. I used http://www.partshotlines.com/ when looking for a used engine.

You may want to have a shop manual or Alldatadiy.com to help in locating / removing parts.

Good luck in your endeavor,

Good idea maydog. I do have the shop manual for the 1998. I do want to be fair with prices on parts that anyone on this board may need. I do appreciate all the info I have learned here.
