Scotty Posted April 2, 2005 Report Share Posted April 2, 2005 Has the check engine light flashed on at all or have you gotten any messages? Are you sure the compressor is not cycling? If you look at the front of the compressor while the car is idling you will notice that the front of it runs a minute or so and then stops, if that is happening, then its possible that you to get the system recharged. Here is the fuse box from the 1999 owner's manual, I circled #26, the AC compressor clutch fuse, I also pasted the location of the fuse box in the upper left hand corner. If it does you may need to have it recharged. I would have thought however that if it was that low in refrigerant that it would have set a code for Low Refrigerant....
