BSchlossmann Posted March 29, 2005 Report Share Posted March 29, 2005 My cruise control stopped working. Checked codes. P061 sets immediately. It appears the cruise control is disabled because no "Cruise engaged" message appears on the DIC when you attemp to turn it on. Further trouble shooting shows that the on / off / resume and set functions are all working properly in diagnostic mode. The manual suggests that it is either the actuator or the PCM. Has anyone in Caddyinfo land had a similar experience with the P061 code and what they did to correct the problem. I'm leaning towards replacing the actuator, but thought it best to check with the experiences of this group before proceeding. Thanks... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
