Sorry about re-posting this. I forgot what I was taught about posts so that people can follow topics easy. !!! I have a question on my Idle Speed Control motor. I have noticed that sometimes when I shut the engine off the ISC motor makes some clicking sounds and you can see it jumping a bit to.It stops in a few seconds. When everything is shut should it still be energized somehow? Is this a sign that it is going bad????

ISC motor repositions itself after the ngine is shot down. It takes a few seconds and when motor is fine you would hardly hear any noise, so that you would not even know something is going on uder the hood after yo turned the motor off.

As soon as you HEAR that noise you know ISC motor is not going to last. You probably will see a related code soon.

The saddest thing in life is wasted talent

So you say it does make adjustments after engine is shut off. OK that is good to know. I could not figure out why it was doing any thing after juice was shut off. I wonder what exactly it does? One problem at a time. Now I just need to figure out my MAP sensor. On a another car with same engine if I un plug the MAP sensor the engine shuts down but on my car nothing happens if I up plug it. I'v been having a hesitation problem and rough idle now and then. I have to find out if my MAP sensor is bad.
