Scotty Posted March 11, 2005 Report Share Posted March 11, 2005 I would take it out and use a wire brush on it. I cleaned the pindle from the inside with 22 caliber Hobbes rifle cleaning round steel and brass brushes from the open hole while pushing in and turning the pindle with a T wrench. Here is a photo after it is cleaned. Tap it throughout the cleaning process you will be surprised how much dust and dirt comes out, avoid breathing the dust and wash your hands.
