Bruce Nunnally
Bertone showed a cross-over concept vehicle at Geneva based on the SRX: http://automobilemag.com/auto_shows/2005_g..._bertone_villa/ Bertone chose the Cadillac SRX as the basis of the vehicle because, according to Cadillac general manager Jim Taylor, "they said that we were the only luxury marque who might have the courage to do something like this." STS Scott
Courage to do something like this? I don't know if that is a complement, or insult! lol It certainly is "different" " ...'took my Cobra down t' the track, hitched to the back o' my Cadillac..." - Jan & Dean, 'hey little cobra' Scott

TDK
I liked it! Although you better be really good-looking to ride adound in it and it better have one hellva air conditioning system. More importantly - their choce of hardware really tells something about the world-class technology that Cadillac has to offer. Usually we tend think of European car outfits as too snooty to consider American iron. Wasn't Bertone the body-builder for the Alante? Or was if Pinafarnia (spelling)? In any case they do beautiful work and they are passionate aobut it. Add power to leave problems behind. Most braking is just - poor planning. poopdeville
The Allante was a Pinnafarina (spelling?) design. Bertone did the Fiat X-1 9 and a Volvo chop job back in the 80's. Mike P
