sae
2007 DTS blower motor continues to run after the car is shut off and the key is removed. It continues to run until the battery is dead. Removing fuses related to HVAC does not stop the blower. Any idea where this module is located so I can replace it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. sae
Thanks for your reply. I went to the site but don't know which one to order? None of them have 1433650 or the 6557 numbers in them. I guess I need to take the old one out first? Is it located under the glove box?
BodybyFisher
I cant help you with the location someone may chime in. I would buy ac delco, standard or delphi. I am not sure what you mean by 1433650 or the 6557 or where that came from. Do a search from scratch on www.rockauto.com based on your year and model. I was just trying to link you to the part number. Göran W
The numbers are just a part of the link - got nothing to do with the part itself. All of them fit. Just different makes.
BodybyFisher
I guess the link I provided doesn't take you to part I searched Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
sae
Finally got the blower control module out. Had to order stubby screwdrivers to be able to undo the screws. Definitely not easy to get to. Must be a contortionist to get this part out. Cadillac does not make this easy! Going to order the part now. Hope I can get it back in!
