An incident involving the points-leading No. 10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPi-V.R team during the 15-minute qualifying session prevented it from fulfilling the required 10 minutes of green flag qualifying time.Ricky Taylor set the fastest time in the session, but one lap later ran wide on the exit of turn four and made heavy contact with the barrier. The red flag flew shortly after the seven-minute mark and the session never resumed.
