It is important to test that it is in fact the solenoid before doing this job because damaged seals can cause it.  

Here is a good teardown of the 4T80e that talks about the P0741, TCC solenoid and the 2 seals.



A lot of great info in this movie. If I ever would do a job like this I definitely would be sure to have a second car to drive for a couple of weeks…
