rockfangd
Hi all. I am replacing the complete front struts on my 97 Deville and have run into the usual issues. I bought new delco springs, mount kit, arnott struts, and bellow kits for both sides I wanted to be able to assemble them and be able to just remove and install the new ones. But Like usual I cannot get all of the parts. The lower insulator, upper insulator and plate are all I think I am missing. Anyone have any insight on any of this? It is a pain to have to disassemble the old units for the parts to have to reuse them on the new ones. Not sure why there are not kits available for them GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
KHE
You will need a spring compressor to disassemble the components. Many auto parts stores have them in their loan a tool program. rockfangd
I know. I have done plenty. It is the issue of having to disassemble the old ones to reuse parts. Worse yet is that if you take it apart and the parts are not reusable you are stuck. Wonder why there wasnt a kit offered GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile

brmurph
If your not in a hurry you could try ebay and assuming the part numbers don't come back select "follow this search" and it will send you an email if one gets posted..
rockfangd
still come up empty. I was only able to locate the lower insulator. No plate, or upper insulator. I find the new body style like the 98 Seville, and 2000 Deville. but none for my 97s GM FAN FOREVER Nice, clean, luxury= fine automobile
