All the 92 Sevilles used the 4T60-e transmission. The first Sevilles to get the 4T80-E were the 93 Northstars. '93 STS.. opened, dropped, wide...fast. The first Sevilles to get the 4T80-E were the 93 Northstars. Sorry, my mistake. The 4T60-E transmission is actually a "weaker" transmission than the 4T80-E is, as I understand. Typical of GM transmission nomenclature, the higher the numerical number, the "stronger" the transmission seems to be.
