TDK Posted February 12, 2005 Report Share Posted February 12, 2005 Supra Bad, Even if it would fit somehow, the computer tie-in would be virtually impossible with a non-Northstar electronics, chassis, tranny, and the list goes on. Each generation of Northstar engine itself appeard to be married to its electronics. There are some years that are virtually idendical and swappable, like 93 & 94. That is why newer Northstar engines are never put in older models and vice versa. Some one may have a complete compatibility list of Northstar-years. These kind of swaps are incredibily difficult, even for GM engineers with virtually un-limited resources.. This question goes the same way as superchargers and turbos for the Northstar...
