beegolden Posted February 9, 2005 Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 I have a 95 Concours with the Northstar and am not able to find the Low Oil Sensor that screws into the oil pan. Could anyone tell me if this is a dealer only item($48.00). I do not seam to find it at Rock Auto, when I the go the local auto parts stores they try to give me a presure sensor. Scotty Posted February 9, 2005 Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 This is from a 1996 manual, but it may help you locate it, see number 10, Mike Early on sailors navigated by the stars at night and the North star became the symbol for finding ones way home. Once you know where the Northstar is you can point your ship in the right direction to get home. jhall Posted February 10, 2005 Report Share Posted February 10, 2005 beegolden, If it's any more help, the sensor is located on the forward-facing part of the oil pan. It will be a slightly-taller-than-normal tan or black plastic "nut" with the sensor wire connected into it. You will have to get under the car and look up along the side of the pan.
