BodybyFisher
Could the moderator please attach this thread to the OPs existing thread on his AC. This new thread misses the history. UPDATE, IT LOOKS LIKE HE POSTED HIS STATEMENT THERE. It still sounds to me like you have a bad AC shop or a friend is working on it. What brand of compressor did you buy? Most new compressors REQUIRE that you flush the system for the warranty. You should pull the orifice tube and see if there is debris in it. . If yes, the condenser should be replaced and the system flushed. I would also replace the drier and orifice tube if there is debris. On the other hand if there is no sign of debris and you just have a bad hub bearing you might just flush and replace the drier. Is it physically rubbing up against something or is the HUB bearing bad and the hub is binding and making noise? Please be clear This is what I mean when I say you appear to have a bad shop, this kind of stuff should be very clear to a shop. Have you taken it to a shop or are YOU doing the work?, it helps for us to know that. I thought I recalled your were taking it to a shop and if you posted in the same thread you started on this subject I could have easily gone back. Please answer my questions for us to better understand what is going on. BodybyFisher
I watched the video about 10 times and don't see it rubbing anything, I do see something shiny but can not see what it is or if anything is rubbing from the angle. The entire time the video was running the clutch didn't cycle, does it cycle? I don't see the hub wobbling at all, and the hub bearing is not making any unusual noises. I had one go on a 96 deville and they can get VERY noisy. I don't see anything wrong, if the shop says its not performing properly that's one thing but I cant hear or see anything unusual. Lets let others see what they think. Seville slider
Ok so I want give in this has to be solved in the picture you can clearly see the clutch is rubbing somthing don't know if that's my problem I doubt it because like u said its spinning. My friend told me not to wig out but it's hot I'm 250 plus in Texas it's stroke weather out here he said lets just try and put freon that it seemed it needs to be charged but that's how the whole problem started smh it was fine till I jacked with it trying to make it cold as my wife's Audi ??the guy at the shop thinks it the compressor and so called tested it but putting the gauges on it and said the was no pressure coming from it but there plenty in the lines I check by quickly pushing in the freon entry valve . I know you guys can figure this out here's the pic
