Ed Fenwick
Aloha guys, I have seen that some of you have rented a DeVille in the past. Can you tell me where you rented them from. I will be wanting one for about two weeks in April-May. I have seen Avis $879.98, and National $811.98. Have you all found any for less? Thanks Ed
CadiKing
Ed, I have not successfully rented a Cadillac yet, but it's not for lack of trying. I tried in both California and Washington state. My only comment is to beware, because the rental places have made a lot of promises they didn't keep. I think they figure if you show up at the airport and need a car, it doesn't have to be the Caddy they promised... Anything else will do. This has happened to me twice in two tries... Oh, the car should be here, but the guy didn't bring it back yet..bla bla bla... We don't rent Caddys here, you have to go to another location... not so easy ON FOOT! {..with your luggage!} My warning is because what you end up doing is, renting something of lesser value for more money... I normally get my rentals on line at a decent price. When your at the airport at two am and the guy says take it or leave it...you may want to punch him out! Be sure to contact the actual rental counter you will be standing at before you get there to be sure you don't go out driving an overpriced piece of crap...like I did! Get someone's name over the phone so you'll know who to threaten!!! LOL LOL Where will you be renting? Good Luck! God Speed in that new Rented STS, SRX, CTS-VEEEE !!!!! Scotty
I rented a 2004 Deville in West Palm Beach for about $400 for the week, it was either Hertz or Avis... It made the trip much better!
Northstar
I got a Deville for $250 a week, thats probably the best you can do. It was Avis or Alamo Im pretty sure.
Ed Fenwick
Thanks guys, $250. per week is too good. If I find that I will take it. Avis wants $400. per week and because of past experiances, I won't use Alamo. I will probably get a Buick from National and ask for an upgrade when I get to San Diego. n0rthstar
I've had bad experience with an Alamo rental before so I wouldn't suggest them. my 'rents rented a car for the weekend to go up to a resort.. I got both the caddys for the weekend, and they got a 300 Hemi C... One hell of a car for (what was) a decent rental price... Good luck finding your deville!
