1996 Cadillac Seville Suspension

Recommended Posts

It all started when I was trying to get a "smooth ride", started with replacing all 4 tires, then front and back struts, then there was a "knocking noise coming from the front left strut". The mechanic took out the stabilizer link and the noise stopped, he reordered new stabilizer links, and the noise came back again, now he is investigating the stabilizer bar, what do you guys think??

It's the two $20 bushings that attach the stabilizer bar...., replace them and your problem should be gone, the reason the noise stopped when he removed the link, is because removal of the link stopped the transfer of bumps to the stabilizer bar. He should not have replaced the stabilizer links if there were not bad, an inspection could have shown they were not defective.

Early on sailors navigated by the stars at night and the North star became the symbol for finding ones way home. Once you know where the Northstar is you can point your ship in the right direction to get home. So the star became a symbol for finding ones way home or more symbolically even finding ones path in life.
