Bruce Nunnally Posted March 24, 2016 Report Share Posted March 24, 2016 Cadillac is making a statement with the aggressive appearance of the ATS-V, and its powerful engine and performance-tuned chassis basically warns competitors that it plans to build cars that will appeal to a wide spectrum of luxury buyers — not just those looking for a fancy utility vehicle. At $76,000 the ATS-V isn’t for everyone, but it certainly should appeal to potential buyers who are looking for a blend of style and performance that matches up well with expensive sedans from Asia and Europe. I thought GM could have worked harder at making the exterior styling of the ATS-V more distinctive and added in more driver assistance features. But overall the 2016 ATS-V is one very impressive vehicle and suggests Cadillac has a very promising future.
